All necessary ground and flight instruction required by the Multi-Engine Practical Test Standards is included. This 5 day course provides up to 10 hours of flight training, up to 5 hours of ground training and use of the aircraft for the checkride.
Chesapeake Aviation will send you our “Piper Seminole Training Supplement” before your training. This booklet covers multi-engine aerodynamics, aircraft systems, checklist procedures, flight procedures, weight & balance, and more. All checklists, required charts, instrument approach plates, Piper’s “Seminole Information Manual,” and the Seminole POH will be made available at our flight training center.

Why Choose Chesapeake Aviation for your Multi-Engine Rating?

Chesapeake Aviation provides more multi-engine flight training and certification than any other flight school in our area. Our aircraft are well equiped, and maintained to the highest FAA standards.

Our Piper Seminole is very well equiped with GARMIN 430 IFR Certified GPS, GARMIN SQ 30 NAV/COM with dual heads, and a HIS coupled to the GARMAN 430

FAA Examiners

We have worked with the same Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) for several years—he is familiar with our standardized training procedures and checklists. This relationship ensures a low-stress checkride, for which you will be extremely well prepared.

Chesapeake Aviation accelerated training is provided as a complete program and not provided as training at an hourly “rate.”

If your program must be discontinued before you complete the flight check, you will be charged $400 per hour of flight training, and the remaining balance will be refunded. If you discontinue training before actual flight training commences you will be charged $100 per hour, and the remainding balance will be refunded.

In the unlikely event that you fail the flight check, you may obtain extra training as a one-hour-block program for $550. This will include flight training from 0.9 to 1.3 hours, ground school, pre- and post-flight briefings, and the use of the aircraft for the re-check (Examiner's fee is separate, and still applies).
